Before you install
GirGit AI is a lightweight Windows desktop app. Make sure your machine meets a few basic requirements before you start so installation and real-time answers run smoothly.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Operating system | Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit) |
| macOS | In beta — Windows is the recommended platform today |
| Internet | A stable broadband connection for real-time answers |
| Disk space | Around 200 MB free for installation |
| Permissions | Standard user account — no admin rights required |
Install in four steps
Download the installer
Get the latest GirGit AI installer for Windows from the download page.
Run the setup file
Open the downloaded file and follow the on-screen prompts. Installation completes in well under a minute.
Launch GirGit AI and create your account — your 10 free minutes are added automatically.
Add your context
Upload your resume and paste the job description so every answer is tailored to you.
If Windows shows a security prompt
Because GirGit AI is a newer app, Windows SmartScreen may show a "Windows protected your PC" prompt the first time you run the installer. This is standard for apps that are still building reputation — click More info, then Run anyway to continue. The app installs without admin rights.
After installation
Once installed, do a quick test run on a mock call to confirm the overlay and transcription work on your setup. When you are ready, top up minutes at ₹5/min — there is no subscription and no card kept on file.
On macOS? The Windows app is the recommended option today, but you can still book human OA / Coding Round Help while the macOS build is in beta.
